My guitar/piano student Jenna, a 12 yr-old singer/songwriter, has been singing since she was 18 months old. I had the privilege to record her original and cover songs for the last 2 years for a great cause! Jenna has donated her recordings to the Terry Fox Foundation for 2013-2014.
She has performed in various festivals and concerts over the last 6 years including the NL Folk Festival, Young Folk at the Hall and “Our Divas Do Christmas on Broadway”. She has appeared on Radio and TV and sung the anthems for the St. John’s IceCaps and MUN Seahawks.
Jenna is an active volunteer in the community as well raising money for the Terry Fox Run and Folk Arts Society and performing in senior’s homes and hospitals. Jenna was selected as Youth Volunteer of the Year in Portugal Cove-St. Philip’s for 2013/14.
